These terms are an agreement between you and Takumi Systems, an independently operated software business based in the Philippines. They apply to takumisystems.com and to the Takumi Journal, Takumi Copier and Takumi Ledger applications (together, "Takumi" or "the Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Takumi.
Takumi is software, not financial advice. Nothing in the Service — including AI-generated coaching, weekly reviews, statistics or any other output — is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. We are not a broker, a financial adviser, or a licensed financial institution.
Trading carries substantial risk of loss. Leveraged products such as CFDs and forex can lose money rapidly. Past performance does not indicate future results. Every trading decision you make is yours alone, and you are solely responsible for the outcome. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and seek independent licensed advice if you need it.
Takumi does not hold your funds, execute trades on a broker's behalf, or have any authority over your brokerage accounts. We never ask for and never store your broker password.
The Copier passes instructions between terminals. It cannot guarantee that any instruction is received, executed, executed at a particular price, or executed at all. Latency, slippage, connectivity loss, broker rejection, margin limits and platform outages are all outside our control.
You are responsible for every position opened on your accounts, including those opened by copying. Monitor your accounts, set your own risk limits, and do not copy a source you do not trust.
You may only connect accounts you own or are clearly authorised to operate. Using the Copier to manage other people's money may require a licence where you live; ensuring you hold it is your responsibility, not ours.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, in serious cases without notice.
Your trading data is yours. You keep all rights to the trades, notes and files you put into Takumi. You grant us only the licence needed to host, back up, process and display that content in order to run the Service for you.
We do not use your trading data to train AI models. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The Service itself — its software, design and branding — remains ours. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account is active.
We aim to keep Takumi running continuously but do not guarantee any particular uptime. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control including hosting, broker platform, or network failures.
We may change or discontinue features. If we retire something you rely on materially, or shut down the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Takumi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that statistics and imported data will be accurate or complete, or that AI-generated output will be correct. Verify anything you intend to rely on.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Takumi Systems is not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any trade executed, missed, duplicated or delayed.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you have paid us nothing.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify Takumi Systems against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of anyone else's rights — including any claim brought by a person whose accounts you connected to the Copier.
You may stop using Takumi and delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice and a chance to put things right first.
On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately. Export anything you want to keep beforehand — deletion is permanent.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Takumi afterwards means you accept the new terms; if you do not, cancel and stop using the Service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes fall to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Philippine courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections of your home country that cannot be overridden by agreement.
